The mens division 3 team will participate in it's 5th season in the SAASL competitions during 2009. The division 3 team has a rich history of playing in the Collegiate League, and did well even though as 3rd and 4th teams in the club they, played against other club's first teams. In 2005 the decision was made to move the Collegiate League teams to the SAASL run competitions and hopefully the teams would settle to a league via promotion and relegation where they were competitive on a weekly basis. After being relegated from division 2 following the end of the 2006 season, the squad was rebuilt, with plenty of new players and won promotion back to division 2 for the 2008 season. The team didn't fare too well during the 2008 season and were promptly relegated back to division 3. 2009 will be a new chapter for this squad with John Edwards on board to coach the team, he has set the team long term and short terms goals, and with a very young squad, the squad will definitely shine once it finds its feet.
